DLHE: Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education, a national survey of graduates' employment. Before 2003 DLHE was known as the First Destination Survey.

FDS: First Destination Survey, a national survey of graduates' employment. In 2003 the survey was renamed Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education.

HEIs: Higher Education Institutions, universities and colleges offering higher education.

HESA: Higher Education Statistical Agency , co-ordinates the Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education survey.

PDPs: Personal Development Profiles, a national initiative to enhance graduates' professional and personal development through their higher education and into their professional lives.

UCAS: University and Colleges Admissions Service , manages students' HE applications.
